Health Care Professionals — A Mile Deep and a Mile Wide Starts Here

This Retreats Education and Skills are intended for HealthCare Professionals such as; Strength and Conditioning Coaches, Health and Wellness Coaches, Holisitic Therapy Practitioners, Registered Dieticians, Nutrition Therapy Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Physical Therapists, Naturopathic Practitioners, Chiropractors, and Physicians.

Join us for an amazing 2 night/3 day retreat with the renowned Dr. Ben House and Dr. Mike T Nelson. At The Point Retreats, you will experience meaninful movement and functional exercise, exceptional and nutritious meals, and resotorative sleep in comfy and cozy log beds. You will have time to relax and decrease stress as you immerse yourself in the beautiful outdoors surrounding the property and peaceful indoor learning environment.  Dr. Ben and Dr. Mike will immerse you in the latest science and research as it relates to all things pertaining to health. We will go a mile deep and a mile wide into all presenation topics!

Prices are all inclusive and cover all lodging, meals, seminars/presentations, activities, and the use of property ammenities. In addition, the price includes 1 FreeStyle Continious Glucose Monitor 14 day sensor study for each retreat participant. The sensor will be inserted shortly after arriving on Friday, September 7th, 2018. Prices range from $1250-$1800 per person depending on room size and single/double occupancy. Not included in price is transportation to and from The Point Property.


Dr. Ben House has worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Nutritionist since 2006. House was accepted to medical school without an undergraduate degree, but elected to finish his degree and pursue a career in the health and fitness sector. He is currently lifting and practicing functional medicine after finishing his PhD and a multi-year metabolic health study within the Nutritional Sciences Department at UT-Austin. House has numerous publications in peer reviewed scientific journals such as The International Journal of Obesity, has presented his work at multiple international conferences, and his passion is researching, writing, and teaching. House puts out at least 300-500 pages of short, medium, and long form free content per year and now lives in Costa Rica with his wife Steph and their puppies living the principles he asks others to build into their lives.

Dr. Mike T. Nelson CSCS has spent 20 years of his life learning how the human body works, specifically focusing on how to properly condition it to burn fat and become stronger, more flexible, and healthier.  He has a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Minnesota, a MS in Mechanical Engineering (biomechanics) from Michigan Tech and a BA in Natural Science.  He’s an instructor for Rocky Mountain and has published research in both physiology and engineering journals.  He has completed on going education from Z-Health as a Master Trainer, National Strength and Conditioning Association as a CSCS, Postural Restoration Institute, Anatomy Trains, the Institute of Motion, Be Activated, and others.  He’s even been called in to share his techniques with top military agencies.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, lifting odd objects, and kiteboarding as much as possible.
